The Austrian style Nordic Bay Lodge is nestled into a hillside overlooking Lake Superior. The lodge's 12 wooded acres of oak, birch, and pine connect to a large network of trails; gives guests the unique ability to start a day of adventure directly from their room. A paved path runs alongside the lake and can take travelers from the Lodge into the bustle of Marquette's downtown and Lower Harbor Park just two miles away, past the vibrant Coast Guard Station Lighthouse and out to a scenic Presque Isle Park. The Lodge offers 24 hour front desk, complimentary airport transportation, a gift shop, indoor sauna, and wireless Internet access in public areas of the lobby.
Guests can get the morning started off right with complimentary continental breakfasts and fresh coffee. The Nordic Bay Lodge has conference facilities available for meetings and events. After a day in the wilds, guests can relax in the Nordic Bay Restaurant and Bar while reminiscing over the day's activities while looking out over Lake Superior.
All 43 guestrooms offer views of Lake Superior. The contemporary Europran style rooms also feature balconies on the upper level, refrigerators, coffeemakers and high speed Internet access.
